AbstractbyRabrams started as a hyper fixation covid hobby in 2021, which unlike my sourdough bread starter, is still going strong. I’ve always had a creative side that would come out at various points of my life. I’m a chaotic, data driven, analytical thinker, who prefers to be referred to as type A-/B+ and loves to observe instead of being the center of attention (unless I’m singing karaoke). Making traditional art was always a struggle for me — I grew up in a musical family though and found that singing, followed by photography, were my favorite creative outlets.

AbstractbyRabrams has been a way for me to flex my creative muscles while still working on being analytical. You’ll notice that the majority of my products have abstract art in the background, which originally were either pour painting or alcohol ink pieces. I started off by doing original art only — paintings, trivets, charcuterie boards (I will never use resin again), signs and more! From there I started to see how I could reproduce my art — greeting cards came first, then notebooks, stickers, postcards and more. I’ve been diving deeper and deeper into product development, designing products such as washi tape, reusable sticker books, badge reels and more.

AbstractbyRAbrams products focus primarily on themes of subtle pride, positive affirmations and dopamine core. Products are all designed by me with either original paintings or digital artwork. There is absolutely no generative AI in my artwork. The mess, the chaos, it’s all me. As a woman and queer-owned business, from the start, I wanted AbstractbyRabrams to focus on a few different pillars: Affordability, Eco-forwardness and Giving Back. I donate a portion of all sales to organizations that support queer youth, and as of July, 2026, have donated over $4,000 to different organizations in the US. I strive to minimize our environmental impact by reusing packaging, reducing waste, and working with local vendors to cut transportation emissions, which also reduces costs for both the y'all and the business.

My business is driven by passion, chaos, and adventure, and I hope my work helps you feel cherished and seen.

Cheers,

Rachel
